Hitesh Amin, MD

Hitesh P. Amin, MD, FACS, is a skilled bariatric and general surgeon at Illumen Aesthetics & Wellness in Rockville, Maryland. At the practice, he works closely with patients, addressing their concerns and improving their health. 

Dr. Amin specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He also treats common gastrointestinal and abdominal conditions,  including gallstones, hernias, reflux, and small bowel and colon conditions. 

Dr. Amin believes in an integrative approach to medicine, utilizing the best holistic, medical, and surgical treatments to promote weight loss and overall wellness. With over 20 years of experience in surgery, he has practiced in the Washington region for more than 15 years.

He has successfully completed more than 1200 robotic surgical procedures, making him one of the region's most experienced robotic general surgeons.

Dr. Amin is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He currently accepts new and existing patients.
